Each expedition added something – bungee jumping off of a gondola in the Alps and running with the bulls at Pamplona furthered his adventurous spirit. And his trek to Brazil substantiated his belief in the importance of friends and family, as he is still in touch with many of the people he met throughout his journey there. In essence, travel allows Bill to gain a deeper understanding of the Earth and the people who populate it. He will always make travel a part of his routine because each excursion demands that he keep his perspective evolving.

Bill’s willingness to broaden his horizons shines through in other facets of his life. Although college was never stressed growing up, Bill took it upon himself to pay his way through UC Santa Barbara, and became the first person to receive a degree in his family (his bachelors is in Business and Economics and he graduated with High Honors.) After college, he immediately began working at an accounting firm, where he polished his financial acumen. But perhaps most impressively, after a few years as a CPA in the corporate world, Bill launched his own consulting business, where he honed his people skills and deepened his sense of ambition. In fact, besides believing in the power of an open mind, Bill also holds a strong conviction in hard work and responsibility. That conviction, he says, can never be changed.
